CamLAN - это сервер, позволяющий организовать в локальной сети или интернете трансляцию с видеокамеры, подключённой к вашему компьютеру. Для просмотра транслируемого видео тоже необходимо будет установить программу (клиент).
With CamLAN you see your WebCam video on all PC's within your LAN or from the Internet. The CamLAN Server sends the video from the connected Video Device to all activated CamLAN Clients. The CamLAN Clients must be connected to the server through a network. You can use a local network (LAN) or the Internet. On the Client side you can see the video in original size, in a selectable user size or in fullscreen. On the server and the client side you have the possibility to capture the actual picture by button press.
From CamLANs point of view the cameras are divided into 3 groups.
NetCams (IP-Cams) which are accessible through their IP-address. These are cameras within your LAN, WAN or from the Internet. Here are samples of camera IP-addresses.
WebCams or additional video devices like TV Tuner, capture cards, etc.. These cameras are mostly direct connected to the PC via USB, parallel port or built-in. If you are using several USB devices parallel, please be sure, that these devices are using a hardware video overlay. If not, the USB bandwidth could be too lowly to transfer all videos parallel over the bus.
RemoteCams - These are all cameras which are sending the video picture from the CamLAN Network Server to the CamLAN Network Client and backwards. All cameras of the first two categories could be a RemoteCam.
Additional has a RemoteCam the ability to send its video picture too.
So it's possbile to cascade the PCs. By example you could see all cameras from PC1 and all cameras from PC2 on PC3.
